Manual fan curves have existed before – but the new editor with 7 freely adjustable control points is now more granular than ever before.A total of 15 individual profiles with their own fan curves can be defined. For each profile, five additional sub-profiles can be named and saved, so that you always have the optimal profile available, even for less common usage scenarios. The three performance profiles (Balanced, Enthusiast, Overboost) can be further adjusted – it is possible to manually fine-tuning power limits and temperature targets of CPU and GPU.Compared to the 2020 version, the following features are new: In the Control Center, performance profiles and fan curves can be adjusted, and various device-specific preferences can be set. It is largely based on community feedback which we collected in this thread at the beginning of 2020 (see the end of the linked post: " What else is on your Wish List?"). The Control Center has undergone a major overhaul for XMG CORE & XMG NEO (2021).

How to create a backup of your profiles.HWiNFO is good as well and will do everything that most people want.Schenker Technologies GmbH / J/ Document version 1.4 / German Translation I thought that Core Temp and HWMonitor were excellent applications. You just can’t lose here and may as well try them all out to see which one you like the best.
I was amazed at the number of free Speedfan alternatives that are available. If this is not of interest to you then the cheaper Argus Monitor is a good choice. Of the two paid applications I would put AIDA64 Extreme ahead of Argus Monitor because the former offers you the ability to run stress tests on your computer. I hope that I have convinced you that there are Speedfan alternatives available and some of these are free. In all honesty, the free version will be sufficient for most people.

There is a Pro version that I didn’t test and this costs around $25 – $40 depending upon the number of remote connections that you want.

I found it very easy to install and use and you just can’t ask for anymore. For a free application, HWMonitor does an awful lot.
